Long Description:
In 1981, the Ministry of Culture, led by Jack Lang, opens its doors to rock and, more broadly, to popular music. The policy of the Department, in conjunction with industry and artists, aims, then, to make known the riches of today's music.
The ZENITH springs from an idea, obviously, like all good ideas: designing a room specially adapted for these types of music. It occurs with two architects, CHAIX Philippe Morel and Jean Paul, who, with entertainers, Daniel and Daniel Colling KERAVEC, invented the concept of ZENITH.
The public no mistake: it is essential immediately place such as music, originally conceived as temporary prototype, the ZENITH of Paris, located on the Parc de la Villette, 25 years later is still living that the first day of its launch.
