V roce 1875 byla postavena zeleznicni trat Tanvald-Zelezny Brod, ale Smrzovky byla zavedena až 1894, kdy byl otevren novy usek, vcetne znameho viaduktu.

In 1875 was built railroad from Tanvald to Zelezny Brod, but Smrzovka was connected later in 1894, when was opened new part of railroad with Smrzovka viaduct > WMAGJA (visit link) .
