In the Osnabrück district of Sutthausen stands the Catholic "Maria Königin des Friedens" (Mary Queen of Peace). On December 2nd 1956, the foundation stone of the church was laid. The church was consecrated on 15 December 1957 by Bishop Helmut Hermann Wittler.
