On the north side of Chickasha, at 913 N. Ninth Street, is a concrete grain elevator south of one of the railroad lines that transect the town.
Midwestern Pet Foods, Inc. which began producing and distributing pet foods in 1982 out of their headquarters in Evansville, Indiana, continued to grow and expand and in 2007, opened this packing and distribution operation, their third, in Chickasha. The company supplies PRO PAC and SPORTMix dog foods throughout the United States and well as in sixty foreign countries. This operation in Chickasha will supply markets in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arkansas.
