The building was built in 1874, after a great fire destroyed downtown Natick. One plaque remarks on the architectural design and the building materials used.

Meridian Lodge was started in 1797, with a charter signed by the Grand Master, Paul Revere. It met in Watertown before meeting in Natick. More detail on the building and the lodge are here:
