This monument honors those who served under General George Washington at Valley Forge. It is located outside of the George Washington Memorial Chapel, Valley Forge Rd. (Route 23), Valley Forge National Park, Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. This monument was placed in 2008 by the Society of the Descendants of Washington’s Army at Valley Forge. The Society was founded by Mr. Donald G. Cronan of Manhassett, New York for the purpose of compiling a roll and preserving the identity of the individual soldiers, especially those who lie in unmarked graves.
