The kids depicted in this sculpture are obviously having fun pretending to be in a stampede with their dog. Lassos are being used by one, and all three have their own "horse". The three children are shown in motion, with one leg ahead of the other and bent to show a running stance. The dog up front shows great speed as he races ahead of the gang.
This spatial sculpture is located at the entrance to the MAC (Multi Activity Center) in Mitch Park. The drive to the MAC and this sculpture is the west entrance off of Covell.
Each sculpture has an inscription which is usually found on the bottom right of the base:
