From the RA website (link below), we learn that the owner bought this Apollo test module from a Grove City, PA salvage dealer back in 1982. Instead of an expensive complete Apollo mission space module, stripped-down test capsules were built for impact testing.
The DQ is located at 1578 Pittsburgh Rd in Franklin, PA. The restuarant is closed during winter months, but the capsule can be seen outside year around.
