The town of Winesap was located on Hiway 97A in Eastern Washington between Entiat and Chelan. It was a stop on the railroad where they picked up the apples grown in the area. In the late 1950's they built Rocky Reach dam and when they moved the railroad tracks to higher ground the town was not moved and is now under water in the Columbia River.
