In front of these newly updated memorial is a roundish patio of red brick.

The brick patio in front of the memorial and the winged ends of the memorial are newly added to the central World War II memorial. There are exactly 67 bricks in the patio and I suspect they were bought to defray the cost of fixing up and adding to the existing memorial. The patio is in terrific shape and a wonderful match to the red and gray stone block of the main memorial.
