The newspaper started the 3. january 1794 as Kongelig allernaadigst privilegerede Aarhuus Stifts Adresse-Contoirs Tidender. Its headquarter has been placed several different places in Aarhus. First in Mejlgade, then Skolegade. The next place was Kannikegade and after that it moved to Skejby north of Aarhus. In 2005 it moved to this location.
