This mural gives the viewer a snapshot of Edgewater's history -perhaps a bit embellished.

There is a stage coach, a 'soiled dove', dogs and sheep, families, farmers and commerce as a grocery and a feed store. This western side of Denver was more a farming and working class community. 'Ladies of the Night' tended to be in lower downtown Denver near the railway station.
