In operation since September 25, 2009, connects the Fair S. See Matthew to a distance of 400 meters, winning a maximum slope of 16% (64 m head). The funicular has the peculiarity of using a route shared with cars and pedestrians on Bridge Street in Pau, Rua Serpa Pinto , Causeway Street and Viriato Silva Gaio.
The doubles line to the intersection of two coaches at Rua do Pau da Ponte, between the junctions with Rua Rua Serpa Pinto and D. José da Cruz Moreira Pinto, where there are traffic lights to stop traffic.
Each of the two coaches have a capacity for 50 passengers.
