Pendulum
This pendulum is located in the Geocenter (i.e. Geologi and Geography institutes) at the Faculty of Science University of Copenhagen.

The white balls are lamps hanging from the ceiling. The
silver ball is the pendulum :-).
FACTS OF THE PENDULUM IN COPENHAGEN:
Rotation time: 28 hours and 59 minutes (due to the distance from the North Pole where a rotation takes 24 hours)
Pendulum length: 25 meters (82 feet); 5 stories high
Period of oscillation: 10 seconds (because of the 25 meter string)
Ball weight: 145 kg (319 lbs)

measured just outside the main entrance.
The public is able to visit the pendulum free of charge when the Geocenter is open (i.e. during business hours, weekdays, excluding the vacation periods).

in the rotunda just barely seen to the right
