LOcal organisation of YMCA was established shortly after the end of WW I to help war veterans to return into civilan life. In 1923 it was built the building of YMCA from donations from America and Canada, and from state contributions.
Recently YMCA in Hradec Kralove has more the 400 members and organizes more then 80 activities in five buildings in the town.
