The Malaysian National planetarium is located atop a small hill, in central Kuala Lumpur, in the Lake Gardens parklands. These gardens contain a host of cultural and tourist sites, in addition to the planetarium.
The planetarium was closed the day of my visit, however, the exterior suggests a large and well provided for facility. It was opened in 1994, and is administered by the National Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment.
The facilities include a 20m dome with 213 seats, and a small cinema which shows astronomy and astronautical movies. There are various artefacts and displays for viewing by visitors. The planetarium also has a 14" telescope for use by the public.

There are a range of fees depending upon the status of the visitors and the services desired. Suffice it to say us$2 or less will show an adult everything.
