This pub is currently out of use. It was closed down back in 2008 after the renamed pub failed to shake off its old bad reputation.

This was a pub with a reputation locally for being a place where pharmaceutical supplies could be obtained on the open market. Oddly this was a poor choice of location for dealers since the police station is no more than 200 yards way.

The pub was originally called The Woolpack.

There is no orchard here. And no anvil either.
