The black bell is located on a brick pedestal. It was dedicated in memory of A.B. & Arena Davidson and their daughter Willadean D. Purcell in 1994.
"The American Steel Foundry Company of Northville, Michigan, originally made the No. 32 bell. This company, established in 1895, according to a publication in the early 1900s, gave the weight of the bell and mountings as 610 pounds, at a price of $41.25.
The bell was moved from the church steeple and placed at the front of the church in its present location in 1994 with an inscription, “Dedicated in Memory of A.B. and Arena Davidson and their daughter, Willadean D. Purcell.”"
