For people staying locally an excellent night is on offer. Food is prepared from local produce such as Herdwick lamb, Wasdale Cheese and prize winning Waberthwaite Cumberland sausage. Guest beers come from the micro breweries of Cumbria, of which there are over 40. Not all guest here.
On the few days of the year when it is warm enough, there is seating outside in front and to the rear.
