The theatre was built in 1914 and the name Alhambra derives from the Arabic 'KAL-EL-AT-AMBRA' meaning red domed castle. As can be seen from the picture it has been redecorated since and it’s no longer a red building. I would say it’s much more extravagant now.
In the day it is a nice building, but it really comes alive at night.
