There are two of these individual firefighter memorials. They surround the large, multi-paned, bay window on the far left side of the firehouse. The memorials are large plaques, black with gold, raised lettering. They are identical. This memorial reads:
In Memory of
Nicholas J. Pasqualone
1930 - 1984
Nick spent a lifetime of dedicated
service to the community of Bensalem
Township. He was a member of Cornwells
Fire Company No. 1 for thirty-four years,
and was honored as a lifetime member by
his fellow firemen. At his death, Nick was
Chief of this fire company, a position which
he held for thirteen years. He was
Bensalem Township's first full-time Fire
Marshall and served as an elected official
on the Bensalem Township Board of
Supervisors from 1981 until his untimely
passing.
He accomplished in life what his
dignity demanded.
This memorial has been erected
through the generosity of his friends, family
and members of the community of
Bensalem Township.
