This is the resting place for veterans from Maui County, Hawaii. In addition to grave sites, there is a mausoleum here for urns, all nicely maintained.
There are several memorial here including a flagpole dedicated to all veterans, a monument honoring those who fought in the Korean War, and a new memorial for purple heart recipients. The Kaoru Moto Pavilion is dedicated to the memory of this Pfc. who was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroism during World War II in Italy.
