I am not sure what the designation is or type of cannon this is.
It looks as though it could have been made to sit on the deck of a small ship.
It is a smooth-bore muzzle-loading trunnioned cannon, mounted on a carriage.
The only inscription I could find was the date inscribed near the vent of the cannon which read 6 - 2 - 13.
My assumtion because of the date inscribed that is that it was made in 1813.
