To think that the pioneers managed to cross the river in places like this boggles the mind. But all they needed was a crack of some kind that led down to the water and then back up again on the far side. I'd hate to try it myself!! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to travel up the road to Lee's Ferry to see the place where they actually crossed. But at least I got to add to my Passport Cancellation collection.
