The church is a grade 2 listed building. The oak panelling, lecturn and pulpit were salvaged from York Minster, after a fire in 19th century at York. The two-light East window of 'Resurrection Morning' is by Shrigley and Hunt, and is a memorial to the men of the parish who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1918. The church is said to be built in 16th century, with north aisle added in 1830. Inside the walls are plain white with memorials to past vicars above the plain wooden pews. There is a stone font near the main door. There is no porch.
