Sadly and, as with many other states, Colorado passed the Safe Baby Haven law after two babies died after they were thrown in dumpsters. In Colorado, babies may be given up at any Fire Station with Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) or hospital with no questions asked for up to 72 hours. Babies may not be left at Police Stations since they do not always have EMTs on staff. For more information, (visit link) .
