The building was designed to meet community needs. The facility provides areas for classes, sports activities, meetings, special events and rentals. It includes a gymnasium, two multi-purpose rooms, kitchen, and offices for the Leisure Services Department.

The Center hosts Classes, Rentals, Special Events, Dances, Trade Shows & Exhibitions, Sporting Events, Conventions, and Camps. The Eau Gallie Civic Center is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends from noon to 5 p.m."
