This station is a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey standard bench mark disk, set in a 4-ft long boulder that projects about 2 ft above ground, at the junction of State Routes 3A and 129, in Billerica, MA. It is on the east (northeast) side of Route 3A, 13.5 ft northeast of the roadside curb, 13.5 ft north of an abandoned utility pole, and about 30 ft northwest of a fire hydrant. The mark is about 5 ft above street level.

All details for this mark are on the NGS datasheet. The MassHighway site has it's own ID# for this mark, but you will be redirected to the NGS datasheet when you select the mark, so it really doesn't matter which site you choose.

Also in the immediate area of the mark, though not mentioned in the description, is a Route 129 street sign with destination info, and a mile marker 84.2 post. It is across the street from a Harley-Davidson dealership, and a small variety store. Overall, a fairly easy find.
