The monument is located in the Orczy-park in Budapest, not too far from the former military academy (Ludovika). It is placed on a small hill from where the whole park is visible. There are some benches next to the statue to sit a take a look to the surroundings.
It is dedicated to the fallen Hungarian officers in the World War II.
On the monument you can see a lion wich is symbolize the courage of a soldier and a conquest warrior from the Hungarian history wich is symbolize the heritage and the tradition of the Hungarian army.
You can reach the monument in the main entrance of the park:
