On Homer's Homer Spit, there is a large marina where private boats and water taxis come and go. At the main entrance, where there is a steep ramp, there are many signs posted to remind the boater of things to keep in mind. A sign on the left has text saying "No Wake" and a posted speed limit of 2 MPH. This is barely walking speed! The marina is a busy place with many tight corners and many moored boats, so it is understandable to have such a low speed limit.
