Date of dedication: Final dedication 2001

Who Put it Here?: Statue: Dedicated May 30, 1914. Rededicated May 30, 1926; Memorial Park Dedicated 2001- VFW #526, American Legion Post 214,

Description of Memorial:
Center piece is the Civil War monument described in detail above. Just behind that is a large circle of concrete with the Gold Star Memorial in the center. This circle is surrounded with 14 flag poles. (I do not understand 14, states, counties, services? or combination) A large flag pole in front is for the US flag. Directly in front, and first thing you see as you approach is the dedication marker for Veterans memorial Park, hanging on two small chains from two steel poles.

To the right and left as if on guard are the World War I cannons memorials pieces, the plaques attached were unreadable. A side walk is laid out from the marker sign to the circle, and it forms a "V". Along this side walk are the other small stone on the ground.
