To the east of the John Wesley Raley Chapel on the campus of Oklahoma Baptist University, is a set of fountains about 60 feet apart. They border a sloped walkway. The fountain on the east flows into a small pond, which empties into a rock-filled trough that flows down to a second pool and fountain on the west.
As the water trickles down the trough, you hear the sound of it as it flows over and between the many rocks and eventually forms a small waterfall into the pond.
At the time of our visit, we were fortunate enough to meet two Freshmen, with their pants rolled up and their shoes and socks off, standing in the pond. We asked if this was some type of Freshman orientation thing, and to our surprise, they said, "Yes. We have to find a Rhode Island quarter which was placed in the fountain area." What fun!
