This former US Post Office and Federal Courthouse now houses several small commercial enterprises.

This imposing structure was built in 1905 as part of a facilities improvement project and used standardized plans. It housed the Federal courts for this southwestern corner of Wyoming from around 1908 until 1980. It continued to serve as the main Evanston Post Office for an additional period of time until a new modern facility was constructed several blocks away.
This building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 19, 1987 (NRIS #87000790).
