Hamburger King was opened by George Macsas in 1927 and has operated continually ever since. A hamburger back in 1927 cost you 5 cents, and even today, their prices are amazingly reasonable.
Though hamburgers are their claim to fame, they are also a full service diner with catfish, Frito pie, stew and chili on the menu. You can't go wrong eating at Hamburger King.
They are open Mon.-Sat. from 11:00-8:00 and are closed on Sunday.
