This ironwork sculpture depics the iron horse trains of days gone by. Sculpted out of iron work with an engine and caboose it is in a fitting location, on the site of the old Deerwood train depot. Now designated as Elmer Park, the train sits in the park, next to a picnic shelter and large leaping deer. The site is also a waymark for a Minnesota Historical Marker for the Cuyuna Range.
It is fun for the kids, a great place to stop for a bit and lots of photo opportunities and other waymarks.
