Just outside the eastern doors to the Midsummer Place shopping centre is this marble slab set into the pavement laid by the Rotary Club of Milton Keynes. It has an arrow on it, as part of the design, pointing in the direction of the 2005 Summer Solstice. The lettering and design is inscribed into the marble, the incisions then filled with stainless steel lettering, one or two of which have gone missing.
