"The Trip" was a mini series of 6 programmes shown on BBC TV in November 2010 in UK. The rest of the world got a feature length film. Shot at 6 different locations. Episode 2 was L'Enclume restaurant in Cartmel. Exteriors were also in Cartmel.

The main actors are Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.

Synopsis
Coogan is hired by Observer Magazine to review six posh eateries. And his last choice as travelling companion is Brydon, when Coogan's then girlfriend goes to Las Vegas instead of the trip. In reality Brydon and Coogan are best of friends. In episode 1 Coogan packed ice axe and crampons bought from Summitreks in Coniston. Not used in this episode.

This exterior scene sees the pair approaching Cartmel Priory down Priest Lane, in a black Range Rover car. The next shot is from inside the vehicle further along the lane.
