A Scott County soilders Honor Roll memorial that was placed here near Gate City High School on November 11, 1950 honoring Scott County, Virginia's soilders that made the supreme sacrifice, and gave their lives in service defending the United States of Americia during World War I and World War II. The memorial is located in Gate City between the High School and the Blue Devil's stadium, on "Coach" Harry Fry boulevard.
