The Hornbeck Theater located at 123-125 N. Bell was built in 1947. This yellow brick, three-story building is a contributing building to the Bell Street Historic District of Shawnee.
In 1973, the theater was converted to a twin. The downstairs auditorium is a theater seating 509. Upstairs in the original balcony area is a Penthouse Theater seating 286. This theater shows top recent films for a $1.50 All Seats price. On Tuesdays, Drinks and Popcorn are only $1.00. This is a cash-only theater operated by Jones Theaters in partnership with Carmike Cinemas.
The Movie Line is 405-275-0963. It is suggested that you call the theater on the day you wish to attend as movies in the downstairs theater are subject to change.
