Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Park is a treasure for the public and tourists. When there is not a scheduled concert, you can stand on the same stage as have the Beatles, Willy Nelson, Ella Fitzgerald and me! I participated in a concert for the families and survivors of the 1999 Columbine High School Massacre (
visit link) .
The three postcards are from the stage and are basically stage north, center stage and stage south. Since the coordinates are about 30' apart, I chose to consolidate them into one waymark. The coordinates are as follows:
Stage North - N39° 39.942, W105° 12.306
Stage Center - N39° 39.936, W105° 12.319
Stage South - N39° 39.921, W105° 12.315
It is impossible to find the amphitheatre unoccupied. The area is heavily used by locals and tourists as well as regular exercise classes. If the facility is scheduled for a performance, you need a ticket to enter.
