I supposed this is as historic as a barber pole can be. The pole is located along an historic stretch of Lincoln Highway on the way to Gettysburg. New Oxford is a quaint small town which seems to have stayed back in time as it has an authentic 40s feel to it. The pole is on the outside, to the far right on the corner of a an old yellow house converted for commercial purposes. The pole is eye level, and is capped with silver top and bottom and is enclosed in glass.
