Description of Memorial: This is a square, concrete monument that steps down twice toward its top. It is topped by an eternal flame. Each side of the monument has the name of one of the four wars, and the dates that the Unites States fought in them. The four wars listed are WW I, WW II, Korea and Vietnam. This monument is located in a very nice park in downtown Waycross.
