About one-and-a-half blocks south of this dated building is a small triangular neighborhood park with a healthy rose garden and gazebo. This neighborhood just south of the bussel of downtown San Antonio is well groomed and takes shows pride in keeping homes and businesses in good repair and community focused. This business duplex is obviously well kept, clean and freshly painted. Unfortunately, there is no buisness names on the windows or doors and none signage showing above the awnings. It looks unused but there is no for sale signs or for rent signs in the windows or on the doors. The building is divided into two store fronts, with the store on the left/south (when facing the doors) just a bit wider and deeper than the store front on the right/north side.
Above the sidwalk awning, the upper facade of the building had two similarly framed crests, one over the middle of each repective section of the duplex, both with the date 1927 etched into the stone crests.
Year of construction: 1927
