The relief art depicts the profiles of Dame Judith Williams and St. Hutchins Williams Bar. The relief art is described as 'two fine portrait medallions, reminiscent of Cheere or Taylor' by Pevsner.

The inscription on the monument reads:

'Underneath is Deposited
Relying on the Hopes of a Joyful Resurrection
Dame JUDITH WILLIAMS
The Dear Wife of St. HUTCHINS WILLIAMS Bar.
In the Gracesfulness of Her Person,
And the Shining Qualities of Her Mind,
She was Superior to Most of Her Sex;
Her Many Virtues,
And unblemish'd Integrity
Worthy of Example in every Age,
Were a Reproach to This;
In Her whole Conduct & Behaviour,
She Adorn'd the Doctrine of the Religion She Profess'd.
Born May 25th 1700,
Dyed May 8th 1754.'

The inscription below the relief art reads:

'Here Lye allo the Remains of MARY WILLIAMS Youngest Daughter of St. HUTCHINS WILLIAMS Bar.
To the Distinguish'd Advantages of an Elegant Form, and Engaging Disposition.
She Added a True Christian Courage, Which was Signally Display'd
At that Solemn & Trying Season, When Death was making its Approaches,
Her Rising Perfections made Her Loss much Lamented by Her Family;
But most Sensibly Felt by Her Father
Towards whom Even from Her Tenderest years
She Behav'd with the Strictest Duty & Filial Love
Born Septr. 25th 1735, Dyed May 11th 1760.
Too Precious a Jewel
for the Present.'

The Church of St Peter was built in approx. 1863 by Richard Armstrong.
