At 6107 feet elevation, it takes training just to breathe. Built less than a mile from the US Olympic Training Center, both amateur and professional athletes use it.
The velodrome was built in 1982 in preparation for the 1984 Olympics in LA. The track is a 333.3 meter track, with a 33 degree banking. Riders love this track for its speed.
