This sculpture by Una Hanbury represents the proverbial Phoenix rising from the ashes. The sculpture stands about 15 feet high. The sculpture. was most likely chosen due to the avian exhibit which it rests in the middle of. The condition of the sculpture is good probably due to it being out of reach of smaller folks who may want to handle it.
