McCabe Chapel is named after a Civil War veteran who made the Battle Hymn of the Republic famous, Charles Cardwell McCabe. Services started in this structure in 1886 and has been in use continually for the past 124 years. Situated with a picturesque view of the beautiful Willamette Valley this old church still has no running water. This waymark features two of the windows. A third was not accessible for photographs at the time of our visit.
