Middle Prong Trail is on an old logging railroad roadbed at the end of the gravel road in the Tremont area. The trail connects with the Panther Creek Trail (2.3 miles), Greenbrier Ridge Trail (4.1 miles), and the Appalachian Trail (8.1 miles). The trail parallels a cascading stream for the first 2 miles or so. Lynn Camp Prong Cascade is about 0.5 miles from the trailhead. Parking is available at the end of the gravel road so coords are given.
