Although the trail to Agnes Valle Falls is a short 0.5 miles, visitors are encouraged to sign the trail register.
The path starts out fairly even and meandering, but as you go deeper, the path slopes dramatically and becomes more and more rocky and uneven.
As such, the risks visiting the falls increase. The local rangers appreciate knowing who is still on the path before night falls.
Personal experience on this path suggests that signing the register is a REALLY good idea. We did have a minor accident which did not require ranger involvement, but that minor accident could have easily been much worse.
