This is one of many granite posts used to mark the "corner" points on the boundary lines between towns in Massachusetts, in this case, the Towns of Hamilton and Wenham. It is about nine inches square and two feet high.
Park at the parking area on Chebacco Road at the south end of Beck Pond. Follow the trails south and southwest to the north side of Snake Hill. The marker is in a stone wall about 50 yards uphill (south) of a wide, well maintained trail. The stone wall runs uphill, to and past the marker. A large oak tree has fallen west over the marker, but is not touching it.
The next adjacent marker heading northwest is
Hamilton-Wenham D, about 0.2 mile.
The next adjacent marker heading southeast is
Hamilton-Wenham B, 0.2 mile.
